Palmarès jazz des Grammy Awards
La 51ème édition des Grammy Awards a eu lieu le 8 février au Staples Center de Los Angeles où les grands vainqueurs de l’année musicale ont été désignés. Le jazz y a aussi été célébré. Voici, dans les diverses catégories, les lauréats :

-Meilleur album de jazz vocal : Cassandra Wilson, « Loverly » (Blue Note)

-Meilleur album en big band : The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, « Monday Night Live at the Village Vanguard » (Planet Arts Recordings)
– Meilleur album de latin jazz: Arturo O’Farill and The Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, « Song for Chico » (Zoho)
– Meilleur solo de jazz instrumental: Terence Blanchard, Be-bop, titre extrait du « Live at Monterey Jazz festival 2007 » (Monterey Jazz Festival Records)
